Plums and strawberries

Today, I put in the fence for the lower garden; planted 8 wild goose plums, 4 Japanese apricots, 20 strawberries (to go along with the 30 I already planted, of which only 23 or so came up), and some asparagus; put the wheat beer I’ve been brewing in the keg; and then weeded much of the lower garden. Yesterday, I pulled out a bunch of wild grape vines from around the property and then tried to root them or grow them in pots, so I can graft onto them next year. Right now, most of them are looking rather droopy, but we’ll see how it goes. Some of the strawberries are already in flower, but I forgot to take that picture. Maybe sometime in the next couple days…
