First Sprouts

This morning I went to water my plants in flats, and I found that four of them had started sprouting: tomatoes, onions, oregano, and saltbushsprout (that’s what the purplish parts of the picture are). After this, I decided to take a mental health day and just hunt for mushrooms and play catch with my roommate. And, of course, to check for more sproutings. When I went out there in the afternoon, the cress and cherry tomatoes had sprouted. Then another type of saltbush, pumpkins, another onion, and leeks. Then amaranth and watermelons. Then while I was watering, I noticed celery. And when I came back to look about an hour and a half later, Good King Henry, another tomato variant, New Zealand spinach, rosemary, and zucchini.
